It also has a port to accommodate data from a Mag stripe reader, plus two configurable port for any RS232 I/O peripheral such as scanners, scales, coin dispensers, etc. Optionally, retailers may choose a 3 Port I/O Card for additional peripheral connectivity and/or a 512K RAM board, increasing the number of PLUs from 5,000 to 15,000 and up to 32,000 PLU's with a 1 MB RAM board. A unique feature of this new product is that it can be connected to additional SYMCASH 6000's, and existing 2020/2010. SYMCASH 6000 also connects to other Datasym enhanced terminals in a single IRC chain and is seamless with PC communications.
